Weston A. Price Workshop at Great Oak School

Join us Saturday November 3rd, 9 – 11am as we welcome Carolyn and Brice Biggerstaff, co-leaders of the Houston-Galveston chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a nonprofit charity founded in 1999 to promote education about health and nutrition based on the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston A. Price. Carolyn and Brice have been members of the Weston A. Price Foundation for over four years, and have been interested in nutrition and its influence on health for many years, buying organic foods and eating whole foods long before they became popular. Carolyn also keeps a blog, www.Real Food Houston.com, to help promote nutrition and health education.

Workshop participants will join us in an introduction, a video on the research of Dr. Weston A. Price, a slide presentation on the topic of Nourishing Traditional Diets: The Key to Vibrant Health.

Discussion will be encouraged during and after the slide presentation on traditional diets. Each attendee will get a packet of information about the Weston A. Price Foundation, brochures, information about the Houston-Galveston chapter, and Houston area sources of real food.  We will have additional information about healthy diets for display.

Adults only.  Suggested donation, 10.00.  Please RSVP to greatoakinfo@gmail.com or call 832.458.3430.
